Matt has had over 25 years experience in entertainment/sports and technology sectors and launched the augmented and virtual reality company Magnify World in 2014. (www.magnifyworld.com) The company offers expert industry advice in AR/VR and offers a range of solutions in this growing industry.
Matt has been a regular on stage moderator and has recently been presenting in Shanghai at the Yangpu Innovation forum as a guest of the local district government alongside Ali Sports.
Matt also founded the sports mobile company Txtstation (interactive TV mobile marketing company) and raised over 6 million in venture capital and sold the company in March 2011 to San Diego USA company CommerceTel. Matt launched the company into the European/North American markets and moved to New York and Los Angeles where he successfully set up the first telecommunication connections to 250 million cell phones and sold the companies original contracts with the FIFA World Cup & SKY TV Italy for the Champions League, Fox USA, CBS USA, Time Warner (TNT Sports) and various leagues in the USA such as the NBA.
In addition the Magnify company launched a series of conferences showcasing the best in AR/VR experiences from start ups/entrepreneurs and global industry. The inaugural summit was one of the largest conferences of its kind in the Asia Pacific region and since has attracted over 2,700 attendees partnering with major brands such as HP, Air New Zealand, GoPro, Sky City Entertainment and 85 speakers from around the world.
